The company was founded by finance professional and fiduciary practitioner Sheila Maluleka, Asande has matured from a boutique practice into a group of independently registered financial services firms.

LEADERSHIP
Sheila Maluleka CFP®, FPSA®
Founder & Group Executive
Sheila is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years’ experience spanning private banking, wealth management and holistic financial advisory. She began her career at ABSA before joining Investec, where she spent a decade as a private banker serving high-net-worth clients with complex financial needs. She later joined Old Mutual, expanding her expertise across advisory and fiduciary services.
She holds a BCom Honours degree from the University of Pretoria and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) as well as a Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa (FPSA®). She is registered with the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) and the Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa (FISA).
Her experience across banking, wealth management, estate structuring and fiduciary administration forms the backbone of the Asande Group’s integrated, client-centric approach. Sheila leads with precision, empathy and a deep commitment to long-term client wellbeing.
Khomotso Maluleka CA(SA)
Executive Director – Asande Chartered Accountants
Khomotso is a Chartered Accountant and leads Asande Chartered Accountants. She holds a BCom in Financial Management from the University of Pretoria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa.
She completed her SAICA training articles at Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo Inc., where she was later promoted to Audit Manager. Khomotso has extensive experience in large external audits across both public and private sectors, with exposure to industries including transport, mining, telecommunications, energy, retail and property.
She established Asande Chartered Accountants as a 100% black female-owned firm, which she continues to lead with technical rigour and strategic discipline.
